With spring around the corner, SOCCER, The largest played sport in the world, is again in every child’s mind.
Here at Winakwa C.C, we offer soccer to kids from ages 3 to 18, with numbers increasing every year. Come out and register to have fun this spring. Registration is on line from March 1-17.
We are proud of all our teams and wish them all the success this coming season. We encourage all participants to work hard but most importantly is having FUN. The cost has not yet been determined but we don’t foresee a price jump from last year.
Winakwa soccer program will provide players with a Jersey, Shorts and Socks, and all that is required from participant is a pair of cleats and a good attitude to learn and have FUN.
(Let cost not be a problem to participate, we could help with Kids Sports forms or arrange some form of payment plans.)
The season will run from May to June (July and the first half of August off to enjoy our hot summer) then ends with playoffs in September. Some of the younger age groups will finish at the end of June.
We are looking forward to our 2019 spring soccer season starting April 29th 2019.

Last year was a great success the weather cooperated and we were able to start the season on time. The kids had a great time and we received lots of positive feedback from the coaches, parents and kids.
We want to send out a great big thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to coach, assist, and volunteer during the season and jamboree.
This program can only operate with our volunteer coaches and we will again be asking for volunteers at registration.
Please do consider helping coach your child’s team. We offer our assistance along the way and can send coaching resources including drills and games to help you coach the season.
If we don’t have enough coaches volunteer there is a chance that your son or daughter will be placed on a team without a coach and might result in the team not being able to play, so please let’s all work together as a community so everyone can participate in this great sport.
This will be Nicole and Shannon's last season!
Daniel Philippe will be organizing 3/4’s, Rachelle Bone will be the 5/6 contact and we will be assisting them and organizing the 7/8’s. A big thanks to these two for joining the team!!
Shannon, Nicole, Rachelle and Daniel!
Have you ever wanted to help out coaching but don’t feel that you have the knowledge?? Coaches are what make our soccer program so successful. Without coaches, kids cannot have fun and enjoy this beautiful summer sport.
Here at Winakwa, we will again be setting up some spring coaching clinics that will help you feel confident in leading a group of children in their pursuit to be the next Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. So, let this not be your excuse in helping your child pursuit his dream, become your child’s hero by become a coach at Winakwa.
If you’re interested and you would like more information or are interested in making a difference in our community with your time volunteering, please contact Roger Moreira email@example.com.
We look forward to supporting you and your team’s success at no cost to you!!!
We have swapped out 200 pairs of shoes so far. In order to continue our success, we ask if you have any soccer shoes (Indoor or Outdoor) that you would like to donated to please drop them off to myself (Roger Moreira) or the Club anytime between now and prior to our registration night. We will be having the Soccer Shoe Swap at our spring and fall registration night. If you want to swap a pair of shoes for another pair we will be asking for a $5 donation (U3 – U8) and $10 donation for (U9 – U18). These donations will be used to start a High School Scholarship Program for a deserving Student who shows leadership in their Community. Thanks in advance for helping us to make this a successful event.
