Host your next social, wedding or large party at Winakwa! Our social package includes at least 9 hours of rental time, set up, clean up, supervisors, bartenders, variety of juices and mixes, ice, and coffee.
Events booked in the gym also include usage of MPR 1 for any extras you might have.

Weddings start at 5:00pm
Access to the hall is 9:00am the morning of your event.
All wedding include set up/tear down of tables and chairs, not decorations, food or other items brought into the hall.

We offer two event spaces for socials:

Main Hall 240
LGCA requires 7 staff/volunteers if 500+ guests attend a social event.
The lessee agrees to provide to 2 sober volunteers to act as Winakwa Volunteer Staff, if your event exceeds 499 guests
We set up all the tables, chairs, and the bar for you. You get to decorate to your taste. Please see the decorations section below.
For gym socials we set up 28 tables for seating, 2 for food, 2 for tickets, 1 for your DJ, and at least 4 for prizes.
For a main Hall social we set up 20 for seating, 2 for food, 1 for tickets, 1 for your DJ, and at least 3 for your prizes.
We use standard 8' banquet tables.
Yes! Only use 'fun tak' or painters tape when affixing decorations to the walls (nothing on the ceiling).
NO tacks, staples, packing or duct tape!
Please bring your own supplies such as scissors, markers and 'fun tak'.
All decorations must come down at the end of the event.
On Fridays you have access to the hall at 4:00pm.
On Saturdays you have access to the hall at 1:00pm.

What comes in, must go out!
No - we provide beer, liquor and coffee cups. Only plastic glasses will be allowed if you you would like to bring your own.
The bar opens at 8:00pm and closes at 1:00am
No. The liquor allowed on the premises is what is indicated on your permit.
Yes. However, the prize cannot be awarded until the person is leaving the social.
No. Your event is private event, not open to the public, If you wish, people may be added to a list, and pay for thier reserved tickets at the door.
Yes! We supply coffee, cups, creamer, and sugar for your social. Just ask the bartender to make coffee and they will brew a fresh pot!
Please only book events for your own group! The contract signer must be at the event.
Yes, $500.00 is due 7 days after a rental contract is returned to us.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, debit, exact cash, and cheque. We also accept payments online through our online payment system - VISA, MasterCard and VISA debit.
